Society of Royals | IWILL Campaign Privacy Policy 2021-2022 

The IWILL Campaign, owned and operated by Society of Royals Incorporated (Inc.) and The Royal Consulting Firm, is committed to protecting the privacy of your children both online and when in our personal care. This Policy describes the ways in which Society of Royals, Inc., The Royal Consulting Firm and its subsidiaries (collectively, we, our, us, or the Company), collect, use, and disclose information about you and the children who use your account through the IWILL Campaign, and all other websites, applications and online services (Apps), associated with this policy (collectively, the Services) including IWILL Campaign for Schools, owned and operated exclusively by Society of Royals, Inc., and The Royal Consulting Firm. This Statement of Privacy applies to www.iwillcampaign.org, and the IWILL Campaign and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to the IWILL Campaign include www.iwillcampaign.org, IWILL Campaign, The Royal Consulting Firm, Society of Royals and www.societyofroyals.org. The IWILL Campaign website is a Youth Social Issue Awareness Campaign site. We provide School Accounts for schools, school districts, or programs (each, an Educational Institution). Our services are geared towards pre-school aged to high-school students and conforms with parental consent practices with respect to “children” or a “child” as being anyone under the age of 18 and is in accordance with the laws of the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (“COPPA”), outlining practices regarding the collection of personal information online from a child under 13 years of age. By using the IWILL Campaign website, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy. 

Please read this Privacy Policy closely. By using the Services, you agree to the handling of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

You should read this entire Privacy Policy and our Terms & Conditions, but here are some main points: 

  • Personal Information, or PI, is defined in this policy to mirror the text of the California Consumer Policy Act (CCPA) and means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household.
  • Other than in the places and for the purposes explicitly disclosed in this Privacy Policy, we do not knowingly collect any PI directly from Child Users under age 13.
  • Because the security of your Personal Information is important to us, we only ask for PI where it serves a business purpose and try to limit the collection of PI to only what is necessary to accomplish these purposes. We also use commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative security measures designed to safeguard all information collected by the Services.
  • Adult users (individuals over the age of 18), may contact us or their Educational Institution, when applicable, at any time, to request that we provide for their review, or delete from our records, any PI they have provided about Child Users associated with their Accounts, or to cease collecting PI from those Child Users.
  • For entry into the IWILL Campaign program, we charge a flat fee of $49.95 for all users, unless you are a sponsor or are provided with a sponsor code1.
    Additional Protections and Information for School Accounts
  • If you have access to the Services through a School Account, additional privacy protections apply because your Educational Institution may provide Society of Royals with student personally identifiable information (Student Data) as defined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. § 1232g) and its implementing regulations (34 CFR Part 99) (collectively, FERPA).
  • Society of Royals & the IWILL Campaign will only access, collect, record, organize, use, or disclose (collectively, Process) Student Data collected through the Services as described in the IWILL Campaign & Society of Royals’ agreement(s) with the applicable Educational Institution and this Privacy Policy. The IWILL Campaign & Society of Royals will Process the data consistent with all applicable laws, including, but not limited to, FERPA.
  • Society of Royals & the IWILL Campaign will delete, or if requested by the Educational Institution, transfer the Educational Institution all Student Data within 90 days (or a shorter time frame if required by applicable law) following the termination of the IWILL Campaign agreement with the applicable Educational Institution.

Student Privacy Pledge

Society of Royals Incorporated is a signatory of the Student Privacy Pledge. The Future of Privacy Forum and the Software & Information Industry Association established the Student Privacy Pledge in 2014 to safeguard student privacy regarding the collection, maintenance, and use of student personal information. Since then, over 300 companies have signed this Pledge to make a public statement of their practices with respect to student data.

To better provide you and your child with products and services offered, the IWILL Campaign may collect personally identifiable information, such as your: 

  • First and Last Name
  • Mailing Address
  • E-Mail Address
  • Phone Number
  • Employer
  • Job Title

If you purchase products for yourself or for your child, that are offered by the IWILL Campaign or Society of Royals, including membership into our IWILL Campaign program, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.
The IWILL Campaign & Society of Royals may also collect anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as you and your child’s:

  • Age
  • Gender
  • Race

We do not collect any personal information about you or your child unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include (a) registering for an account, (b) entering a sweepstakes or contest offered by us or one of our partners, (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties, (d) sending us an email message, (e) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering, making a donation, and or purchasing products or services. We will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.

2. Use of your Personal Information
The IWILL Campaign collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested. The IWILL Campaign may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from the IWILL Campaign and its affiliates.

Adult User Information – Information Collected from Adult Users may be used:

  • To permit you to register and use the Services, including, correspondence concerning Child User progress and or relating to Account & Data;
  • To respond to and or fulfill requests, including technical support;
  • To provide optional marketing materials an Adult User has signed up to receive communication about; Although it is never the intent of Society of Royals & the IWILL Campaign to send any marketing messages to children, if you believe a Child User is receiving such marketing communication, please contact us at described at the conclusion of this Statement.
  • To deliver IWILL Campaign & Society of Royals advertising to you based on your visits to the non-child-directed portions of the Services (such as www.societyofroyals.org). PLEASE NOTE: We will NEVER use information collected in the child-directed portions of the Services for targeted advertising purposes.

Child User Information – Information collected from Child Users may be used: 

  • To sign up for all services, events or products associated with Society of Royals, Inc., the IWILL Campaign and all subsidiaries of Society of Royals, Inc.
  • To tailor our content in order to provide a better quality of service to our children.
    Both Adult and Child User Information – Information collected from both Adult and Child Users may be used:
  • To allow us to assess and improve the Services, its educational content, and other services we provide.
  • To customize, adapt, and personalize Users’ viewing and content-consumption experience.
  • To maintain and analyze the functioning of the Services.
  • As we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law, including laws outside your country or residence; (b) to comply with legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public and government authorities, including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; (d) to detect violations of and enforce our terms and conditions; (e) to protect our operations or those of any of our affiliates, include the security of our Services; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of our affiliates, you, or others; and (g) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

3. Sharing Information with Third Parties
The IWILL Campaign does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties.
The IWILL Campaign may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail or provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to the IWILL Campaign, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of you and your child’s information.
The IWILL Campaign may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the proclamations of the law or comply with legal process served by the IWILL Campaign or the site, (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the IWILL Campaign, and or (c) act under necessary circumstances to protect the personal safety of all users of the IWILL Campaign, the site, or the public.
4. Automatically Collected Information
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Society of Royals, Inc. & the IWILL Campaign. This information can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the IWILL Campaign website and of subsidiary websites of Society of Royals, Inc.

8 Security of your Personal Information 

Society of Royals & the IWILL Campaign secures you and your child’s personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The IWILL Campaign uses the following methods for this purpose:  – SSL Protocol

9. Right to Deletion 

Subject to certain exceptions set out below, or receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will: 

  • Delete you or your child’s personal information from our records, and
  • Direct any service providers to delete you or your child’s personal information from their records
    Please note that we may not be able to comply with requests to delete your personal information if it is necessary to:
  • Complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall conducted in accordance with federal law, provide a good or service requested by you, or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you or your child, or otherwise perform a contact between you or your child, and us;

The IWILL Campaign & Society of Royals, Inc. collects personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. The IWILL Campaign, Society of Royals, and all other subsidiaries of Society of Royals collects this information for the following reasons:

  • To sign up for all services, events or products associated with Society of Royals, Inc., the IWILL Campaign and all subsidiaries of Society of Royals, Inc.

From time to time, the Society of Royals may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and or other general communication.

We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.

13. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
The IWILL Campaign and Society of Royals Incorporated reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our website, and or by updating any privacy information. Your continued use of the website and or Services available after such modifications will constitute your (a) acknowledgement of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
If you have a School Account, any modifications to this Privacy Policy will only apply to you and your Child User in accordance with the IWILL Campaign for Schools agreement with your Educational Institution.
